I have enjoyed this entire series and would highly recommend reading all three stories.Ī Beauty So Rare is the second book in Tamera Alexanders Belmont Mansion series, coming after A Lasting Impression. He is the perfect catch with his Hollywood good looks, but without the arrogance and attitude. Our hero, Marcus Geoffrey has a heart of gold that will melt yours. Elanor Braddock, our heroine is a very strong, caring, modern woman. She has a special way of taking you along on an unforgettable journey. Tamera is known for her solid, beautiful storytelling. I always want to research further the characters and locations like Belmont Mansion to find out what more I can learn. Tamera Alexander does such an excellent job of including actual places and people in her historical fictional works. I would highly suggest reading all three and if you can, it may help to read them in the order they were written. I had heard so much about A Note Yet Unsung, the third and final book, that when I could get a copy I started there. So if you haven't read the first book, A Lasting Impression, you will still enjoy it. I believe Tamara Alexander hit this one out of the ballpark!Ī Beauty So Rare is the 2nd book in the Belmont Mansion Series by Tamera Alexander. If you like historical romance that has substance and touches on some difficult topics, you are in for a real treat with A Beauty So Rare. I cannot say enough things about how wonderful this novel was. My favorite quote was, ".one thing I've learned in my life is that it's best to keep on amiable terms with those who oppose you, rather than fight at all costs to win every battle." I loved her spunk, her caring and generous personality and her tenacity. They were living, breathing people that I cared about and I loved spending time with them. The timeline was realistic especially with the historical facts peppered into it. I was immersed in this story from the beginning and felt myself drift back to another era. But, if they were all written as well as this one, I would surely become a fan. Let me start by saying that I don't typically like romance novels.
